Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor she is a popular TV host. She is the host of her own Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and is co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, in her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Cook shows easy to master techniques as well as her distinctive blonde spiky locks. Chef Burrell is also a part of many of the best restaurants located in New York, studied the tradition of Italian cuisine, and the culinary landscape in Italy as well as competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was infatuated by food. After obtaining an English and Communication degree from Canisius College in Buffalo NY she became interested in the business of restaurant by enroling into The Culinary Institute of America. I was awed by every minute of being a student at The Culinary Institute of America she states. It was hard to study about, practice or do all the things I did. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) while attending in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. While in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate Italian philosophy and culture, and has made an impact on her own culinary perspective. Burrell is a famous ambassador in the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board, which helps kids who have challenges. As a speaker, Burrell goes on a tour across the United States to talk about her love of cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Anne says she was incredibly fortunate in that she could be able to share her passion for cooking with other people.
