Paula Faris
Paula Faris is an American journalist
from the United States. She previously worked as the TV reporter for ABC News.
Her roles as co-anchor for Good Morning America Weekend (2014-2018) and co-host
of The View (2015-2018) are famous. She was previously co-anchor of America
This Morning as well as World News Now. After graduating, she worked in several
communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James
Productions in Columbus, Ohio. Due to the lack of TV opportunities the company employed
her in radio sales. After a year of work as a production assistant with
WKEF/WRGT, she eventually was in a position to report and anchor periodically.
She was the weekend anchor and weekday sports anchors for WCPO TV, Cincinnati,
from 2002 until 2005. After her contract was up and she became a sports
reporter and anchor at the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago from November 2005
through December 2011. In December 2011, she was employed by ABC News the
division for news of ABC. She joined the network for its World News Now and
America This Morning on January 2, 2012. She was a journalist and fill-in for
Good Morning America during this period. In the future, she was promoted to an
New York-based reporter on all ABC News programs. The last episode of World
News Now and America This Morning was on January 22nd 2013. She debuted on Good
Morning America Weekend as co-anchor, the 9th of August, 2014. This was after
Bianna Golodryga changed her channel to Yahoo! News. News. The show revealed on
August 3 this year that she had been renewed for for the twentieth season.
Season 21 also got renewed along with co-hosting duties. In the 22nd and 21st
seasons she was mostly on the program's Friday episodes.
