Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka Chopra was born in Jamshedpur, India on July 18, 1982. When she was in high school, Chopra won the Miss India pageant, and she was soon following it with the 2000 Miss World pageant as well. After that international triumph, Chopra decided to pursue the field of film and became a major name in Bollywood. Chopra made waves on American television through Quantico, the FBI drama Quantico which ran between 2015 and 2018 and was the subject of headlines for her marriage to actor and singer Nick Jonas in December 2018. She appeared in her first Bollywood movie, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, in 2003. In the same year, she also acted in Andaaz. The film was the beginning of a lengthy series of films that comprised Plan, Kismat (a romantic comedy about the life of a spy), Asambhav, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitrazz, and Asambhav -- all of which came out in 2004. These films didn't do well at the box office , Chopra was successful in her romantic comedy Mujhse Karogi. Chopra was only 20 when she made her debut in film with Thamizhan then followed it the following year with Jeet - Born to Win. Chopra said that her debut film was an unpleasant experience. "I was ready to leave the world of entertainment after I'd done it!" "I did not know the situation." Nick Jonas, actress and singer-actor revealed their relationship in the summer of 2017. Their engagement was announced in July. Jonas is reported to have proposed to Chopra on her 36th birthday. They tied the knot in a multiple-day lavish affair beginning on December 1, 2018.
